Unbranded Murano Style Art Glass Scalloped Ruffled Candy Dish Pedestal Bowl

Unbranded Murano Style Art Glass Scalloped Ruffled Candy Dish Pedestal Bowl listed for $75 in Johnstown, Pa 15904. ValU estimate: $30–$150.

This unbranded Murano-style art glass pedestal bowl, likely from the Mid-20th Century, has a value driven by its attractive amberina coloration, scalloped/ruffled rim, and excellent condition. While not a signed Murano piece, the 'Murano Style' designation can still command a decent price due to the aesthetic appeal and association with quality art glass. Comps for unbranded or 'style of' pieces range from $30-$80, while signed Murano items or very distinctive pieces can fetch significantly more. The large asking price for the fluted Murano vase on Chairish suggests a higher potential ceiling if the form is particularly striking, but more conservative estimates are appropriate for an unbranded candy dish. The Fenton compote at $31 is a good floor for a similar, though not Murano-style, vintage pedestal piece in excellent condition.
